The Line Driver is an active buffer that changes the guitar’s output from a high-impedance signal to a low-impedance signal.
This allows the signal from the guitar’s pickups to drive long cables and run through pedal boards without loss.
The result is an uncoloured and natural sound that is similar to the optimal sound obtained when a short cable is plugged straight into the amp.
